Asics tapped Newfangled Studios to help drive downloads of their RunKeeper app with a multi channel campaign that got audiences visualizing their own personal running coach.

Putting in miles across channels

When Asics wanted to visualize their newest app, Runkeeper, they tagged us in to help them realize the vision across social, OTT and YouTube. We needed to highlight the newest features of the app, which worked like a digital coach that runs along with you, in efforts to drive app downloads. What better way to show a digital coach that runs along your side than to actually visualize it? Our diverse creative team was more than up for the challenge.

Stories that inspire when they matter most

In addition to the commercial, we also produced a brand-level content series featuring inspiring runners who use the app for training called Runkeeper Journeys. After researching each subject and outlining their stories, we took a small and agile crew to film in Virginia and England respectively. In addition to the long-form campaign, we also developed lower-funnel assets for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
