When Google needed to drive iOS downloads for the Chrome app, they turned to Newfangled to craft a social first campaign that would push the needle.

Google needed a social first global brand campaign that motivated iOS users to actively download and use Chrome all across America (that means Spanish and French Canadian speaking users as well). Browsing is something personal to each of us, so we knew we wanted to feature real use cases about real people. To tell authentic stories, we needed authentic talent, so we found the perfect bunch.

Platform Native LoFi

When it came to TikTok, Newfangled wanted to make content, not ads. We worked closely with our staff of diverse creators to craft stories and content that was true to them, not traditionally scripted endorsements.

Premium In-Feeds

In-feeds for Meta platforms were our opportunity to bring in the premium and modern feel that people associate with Google products. We still made our creators the hero, but upped the production game to stop those feeds from scrolling.

Glossy brand spots still have their place, and YouTube gave us the opportunity to bring out the cinema camera for the high production shimmer we love for audiences that are used to something a little extra.
